My take on brush calligraphy

Day 5/90 (10/05/2016):

Today’s source of stress: watercolor brush pens LOL

Back in grade 3 at Maryknoll (yes! school must be mentioned! LOL), during art class, the teacher instructed the class to paint something using watercolors. Back then, i didn’t understand about control, blending, strokes, etc. I wondered how my classmates could do their project easily while I struggle painting a simple tree. Discouraged, I conditioned myself then that I must be lacking in creativity & built a wall against doing arts!

When my husband heard this story months ago, he encouraged me to give painting another try. Fast forward to now, I finally painted something, uhhmm nice, I guess LOL … my first

Looking at these, I can hear the “gr. 3 confused little me” thanking me now for tearing down a major self defense wall My art projects may not be perfect for some, but I don’t care LOL Its is an Art Skill achievement unlocked for me … and that is whats important

First try in watercoloring

Day 2/90 (10/02/2016): from stick figure drawings to “expressive floral painting” i never knew i had an inkling for painting. indeed, with GOD’s grace, everything is possible!

Self Proclaim Travel Critic!!!

Im no travel expert, but since my idea of creating this blog is to talk about my life, including places I have been,  I might as well give some real advice and commentsabout my trips.

In every journey, there are several factors that add up whether a trip is OK or not...

TRAVELING TIME: going and coming back, getting there, transpo

PLACE: environment... does the place live up to their name or not

SERVICE: this is a factor that most Filipino business lack... I feel na lahat ng mga sales lady and kahit na lang ang nag bebenta ng fisballs sa kanto sa Pinas... they all feel na utang na loob mo pang bumili sa kanila... Kakainis most of the time... pero there are several places that super service to the next level ang binibigay nila...

STAFF: is there a need to explain? most of the time when travelling, you dont remember the place, pero you remember how a certain person treated you, diba? sometimes, even if super duper ganda ng place, ka-aburido naman yung mga staff... nevermind na lang diba? or the opposite din... super swangit ng place... pero dahil mabait si manong guard... ang ganda bigla ng surrounding... hehehe

I'll check my pictures and try to remember well... lets see na lang if ano ang mga malalagay ko here...
